Delicious bbq. I ordered the sampler of a mix of wet and dry ribs, brisket, bread, and 2 sides (got the mac n Cheese and hush puppies)... it was definitely enough food for 2 people. The meats were extremely delicious, as were the sides. I would highly recommend this place when visiting the area, as I was. The only downside was I couldn't buy any of the sauces or rubs because I can't get it in my carry-on.

Food was so good. Walked in no wait, placed our order and found ourselves a seat. Food was brought out fairly quickly and was delicious. Id say best BBQ place in Nashville. Pricing was good for the quantity and quality.

Best BBQ we've had. I'm still dreaming of that brisket a day later! Portions were a great size. It's hard to find BBQ places with good Mac n cheese as a side. Martin's is by the best we've come across! Their sweet tea is also very good. We'll be back!

The vibe of this place was fantastic. I had the brisket tacos and they were good but the star of the show was the sides. The Mac & Cheese and Baked Beans were delicious! The restaurant was clean and tables were cleared quickly. I recommend this restaurant as one to visit for sure.

Classic BBQ joint! Brisket tacos were delicious, although not traditional, they had roasted tomatoes that really elevated the taste. Mac n Cheese was a great side. I would skip the Nachos next time, for brisket or pulled pork.

We've been to Martin's a few times and always come away talking about what a good experience we had there. I'm huge fan of their brisket. Always so tender and flavorful. The atmosphere is just what you would want and expect from an Americana BBQ joint. But it's the staff that truly make it an enjoyable experience. The outgoing, friendly attitude of Addison who took our order kicked off a great dinner experience. He came with great advice and witty banter. Then as we were eating, we met Rachel, who I believe was the manager. She was so much fun and so upbeat. You can tell she loves her job and it makes it so we love to be there. Finally, Grayson who was busing the tables had just as many positive vibes as everyone else. You can tell he took pride in what he was doing and he spoke so highly of his co-workers. We'll be back for more great food, good vibes and great people.

I can’t say enough good things about Martin’s BBQ in Midtown Nashville! From the moment we walked in, the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff set the tone for an exceptional meal. I ordered the half slab of ribs—and yes, I went half dry rub, half wet—and they were absolute perfection. The dry rub ribs had that ideal blend of spices, giving each bite a satisfying crust, while the wet ribs were succulent and bathed in a rich, tangy sauce that made my taste buds dance. On the side, the mac and cheese was creamy and indulgent, with just the right amount of cheesy pull, and the green beans were tender and lightly seasoned—a simple yet delightful complement to the smoky meats. To wash it all down, I treated myself to their blueberry lemonade cocktail, which struck a perfect balance of sweet and tart, served cold over plenty of ice. My wife opted for the sliced brisket, and let me tell you, those thin, melt-in-your-mouth slices were some of the best we’ve ever had. Her mac and cheese and green beans were just as stellar as mine, and her bloody mary had a real kick—spicy enough to clear your sinuses but so full of flavor that she couldn’t stop sipping it. Between the outstanding food, the warm hospitality, and the laid‐back Nashville charm, Martin’s BBQ has earned a permanent spot on our must‐visit list. If you’re in Midtown and craving authentic, mouthwatering barbecue with great sides and inventive drinks, do yourself a favor and head straight to Martin’s—you won’t be disappointed!

Stopped by Martin’s BBQ while visiting Nashville and it totally lived up to the hype. The brisket was insanely tender, the ribs had great smoke and just the right amount of bark, and the sides were all solid — especially the mac and cheese and slaw. You can tell everything’s made with care and real BBQ know-how. The atmosphere is super fun, with plenty of space and a cool outdoor area. Staff was friendly and the service was quick, even with a busy crowd. Whether you’re a BBQ fanatic or just hungry, this place is a must. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.
